67 Left quarter fitment

Removed the tail light panel and realized that there is yet even more Bondo and chicken wire holding this car together, still more fitting and trying to figure out how to make the car square again.

The 69 reasebly begins....again....

Everything had to be put back together, the engine was removed, the the exhaust cut, all wiring pulled out, and fairly much everything was back to square one.... spent all weekend trying to get it all back togather

A Step Backwords

So the 69 took a step backwards in an unwanted attempt to get it finished sooner as a present.... long story short we got it back in a gazilion parts with everything that we have done disassembled, the wiring cut and all the body work dented.

Left Quarter Fitment

After the removal of the left rear quarter and the inner and outer fender wells the new quarter is being fitted to see how bad the damage was and how much straightening of the rear end needs to be done

67 rear end removal

Removed the rear end from the 67 camaro and its a good thing that we decided to go with the 5 leaf setup because the old suspension was all rusted and cracked, the shackles were rust welded on and had to be cut out, now we need to replace the left frame rail and the forward leaf spring mounts before the new hardware can be installed

67 gas tank

Dropped the tank again to flex seal it and protect it from corrosion, had to drop it again to get the rear end out anyway

Other projects

Time to do some maintenance on the bike, spark plug change

67 left quarter

The left quarter panel is a good test fit after removing all the extra chunks of the old one, now just gota finish cutting out the inner fender well and the taillight panel for this to fit in there properly.

69 Dash

The gauges are all wired in on the 69 and the dash is starting to take shape
