So today was a fairly productive day, ended up a free engine stand at Harbor Freight because the cashier was an idiot and managed to ring up a $70 stand as a $3.99 tarp, didn't even notice until after the fact. Picked up a replacement T350 for the 69 Camaro from a buddy of mine that had a spare in his garage from his 72 Chevelle that he had no need for.
Separated the motors from the frames on both cars and noticed that the 69 had blown exhaust gaskets which is weird since the motor was never run under load? good thing we cought it and will now replace with aluminum gaskets.
Power washed the frame on the 67 and next time im at the shop ill completely disassemble it, strip it bear and repaint it properly and i guess assemble the front disk brakes and install the springs instead of the wood thats there to hold the whole thing togather, also will need to replace from lower left control arm as its rusted a bit.
